If Nothing Else Works, try Faith

Faith tends to be the hardest to hold onto in the face of adversity. It’s the one thing that will pull you through adversity. The enemy will want to fill your head with “this won’t work” “nothing will ever change” “this is my luck.”

Negative thoughts are an attack from the enemy. This has been hard for me to grasp. The enemy turns up the fire when he finds a weakness. My point to this is if you can identify your weakness. Perhaps you’ve gone through a break-up. You need to let God handle it, but you keep calling, emailing, begging, or thinking your fighting to hold onto the relationship. Reality is you’re destroying it, imposing your own will. Trust me been there done that!

faith, hope, God

Faith

What gets you is when you do try to let go and let God do his thing. If the situation does not change as fast as you want, that’s when you jump in and screw it up. Nothing happens on our schedule. Especially when it comes to God. We have to allow God to move through our lives, let our destiny unfold. Even if that destiny is not the outcome, we hoped for. That only means something new and better is around the corner.

If you give up or give in to your will things only won’t change as they should. When we live in our head instead of inside our soul, the administrator will take us down the wrong path. Faith that your life will unfold on God’s time will allow you to find happiness. Just when you think everything is lost, God will show out in ways, you could have never imagined. NO, I don’t have a crystal ball to tell you why or how. It’s through God’s promises in the Bible.

If you don’t have an understanding of the Bible, let me recommend you find a right Bible-based Church. Learn what the word of God says. Look at it with an open heart. There is a HUGE difference between Religion and walking as a true Christian. Subscribe to what makes you feel good. If organized Religion appeals to you, go! If you want to live a Christian life, find a good Christian Church. As long as you honor God to go to to do what your soul is called to do.

You cannot merely white knuckle faith. Having an understanding of what Faith will make it so much easier to have it. When I write about such things, I am the first to tell you that I chronicle my life as a direct result of following God’s word. I let people of real faith Minister to me the word of God. My background is not in a Church, nor have I studied it in a formal setting. What I can offer is my experience of being someone just like you seeking something more for my life.

Find people that speak to your heart teaching you the word of God. You may need to visit several Churches before you find one that speaks to you. That’s normal and okay.

Here is the dilly whopper. You have to give everything to him! You can’t go part way or say I will let God handle this and I will feel that. If you want more of the same for your life, that is what you will get if you don’t let God handle it. I struggle with this, as well.

What I had to do is tell myself, “okay, you’re here because of the way you handle things in your life.” So maybe a different way to handle my life is in order? Of course, it is, if I ever expect anything to change, I have to be willing to change.

We all come to a point in our lives that we say “I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.” It stands to reason that if life has exhausted you. Maybe, trying it with faith couldn’t hurt? My experience has been dropped into a pit of hell. So for me, a drastic change is what is needed. Therefore, I have committed to God that I will trust him completely. Struggling to maintain that, but when I do stumble, I have to remember that I am human. Giving myself a break to get up dust myself off and get back after my life. Trusting God to unfold my destiny. Is it smooth, no? The alternative is to continue the same crappy existence that I was muddling through. Losing relationships with family, not ever feeling truly fulfilled. Or I can try something new. God is something new for me. So far, it’s been amazing.

Most times not easy, but the rewards FAR outweigh the pain. Nothing worth having comes easy. Adjusting ourselves to an entirely different way of life is work. Be kind to yourself as you learn and make mistakes. Don’t get discouraged, and it’s part of the process.

It’s going to feel like you’re quitting smoking. You’re going to want a cigarette, don’t smoke it! Trust that whatever struggle that is in front of you will pass. It will give if you pray about it and let it go.

Find help in a good church if new to all of this. It gets better; I promise it does keep your faith! God bless you.

Belief is More Important than How

From personal experience, you have to believe before how will present itself. If you don’t believe down in your bones then the how will seem to elude you.

If you begin to see it before you get what it is you want, it will come into your life that much faster. What slows us down is how we accomplish a thing. Don’t worry about that. If you don’t know then how will come to you? It may come in the form of an idea popping in your head. A person out of the blue will show up with the answer. Something will happen that comes across your path all because you believe it to be so.

You have to put action behind your belief. Sitting on the couch watching cartoons, eating pizza and you suddenly say “I need money to pay the rent” um sorry you have to get off your behind and take action. Do the smallest of things to begin to see and believe what it is you’re trying to do.

faith, belief, Jesus

Believe Before You See

You can do things to take action such as educating yourself further in what it is you want to do. Read books, visit locations, speak to people familiar with what it is you want. Don’t worry if you don’t have the money, the connections, just focus on believing it’s so. If you don’t think it will happen, you’re 100% right.

Don’t put a time frame on anything. Successful people will tell you the reason they win. They’re willing to take one more step than you are. Willingness to dig in and move one more action than the competition. No matter the pain of the effort they make it. Dreams have to be worth fighting for, or they’re just that dreams. The big difference between passion and hope. Think about that sentence for a while.

We as humans waste so much time and energy on stupid things. Take this moment to see yourself in a whole new way. Visualize the life you want every day. If you do experience will unfold as it should. Destiny awaits those that will believe in a great future.

Take time daily to get still in mind, and visualize the future you would be proud. The how will come if you believe.

Stay Strong in Faith

What a journey it is when you give your life to a spiritual existence. Deciding that you will live your life from your soul and not your head. That means to me that I allow things to happen on God’s terms, allowing the universe to open up my destiny as it should. We, of course, have to do the work, but we must acknowledge our fate to be revealed to us.

For me, this has been a struggle. Imposing my will before God’s will is fear. It’s hard to release your faith, I struggle with it every day. It does get more comfortable every day. It does not mean that you don’t look for signs look for blessings every day that gives you clarity along life’s path.

At this moment, I am having issues allowing God to work in my life. I run scenario one after another in my head. This is not trusting God to reveal to me the answer to this worry. What I am praying for is clarity in God’s good time. If I’m ever going to have peace in my life no matter how much it hurts right now. I have to let go in faith.

Stopped working on this and boom I started stressing over the issue I was just speaking about. Faith can be hard to follow when all our lives we’ve imposed our own will over our life. If your life is out of balance and in a mess, there is a reason. Right there with you. So it stands to reason that if I want real change, I have to be willing to change. So faith I am standing firm!

If God’s promises are real, and they are! On the other side of this is happiness that will far and away be greater than the despair I feel. I miss someone very much, but I have to let God work through both our lives to restore them. Then and only then will destiny reveal itself.

If you struggle today with faith, then let’s make a pack for today. God, we release our loyalty to you, so that you can do the right work in our lives!

Stay strong friends!!!

Pets For Hope

Pets bring such joy into our lives. If you currently don’t have a pet or have never had a pet. This article is for you.

For many years I shied away from having a pet. To much trouble, mess and whatever other excuse I could muster up. Like with all things in our lives timing and reason will intervene. Along came Glitzy.adopt a pet, pet, dog

In times when life is stressful or difficult, I can always come home to a wagging tail, tons of kisses and sweet barks welcoming me back. She is still ready to provide comfort, love, and companionship no matter what. She can pull me out of a dark place just because she wants to play. Throw her toys or bark at me for treats.

Sometimes we all need a distraction from life. I can tell you without reservation that a pet brings such joy into a home. Adopting a pet is such a blessing to the animal and your family. Dogs seem to know somehow when they get home and start getting a sense that they’re back. It’s as though they somehow know you saved them from the life in the shelter. Don’t get me wrong shelters have amazing folks caring for the animals. Like humans, dogs need a den, a home that is safe. You become a part of the pack.

After a time dogs will bond with you as nothing else compares with the love a dog. All they want is a pet, a hug and a cuddle. In Glitzy’s case throw in a couple of treats as well.

Having something to care for is a responsibility. So please before you get a pet make sure you’re willing to take care of, keep safe, warm, and pet veterinary care. Pets need heartworm medicine, vaccinations, and routine care for illness. Make sure you can budget for these things. It’s not fair to a pet to suffer because we did not think about monetary consideration.

Research the right pet for you or your family. Take a look at breeds for things such as hyperactivity. Water dogs need to exercise and play a lot this is just one example. All races have something that requires your particular attention. Hyper dogs for instance that need lots of exercises to burn off energy. If you live in a small apartment, this could be a recipe for disaster. Torn up clothes, furniture and all sorts of not so fun things to come home to find. So be sure you read the temperament of a breed before you just get that dog.

Adopting dogs, you can not go wrong. Having passed two myself. I can tell you from real experience they were the sweetest dogs. Anyone who has taken a pet says the same thing. They feel like the animal knows you saved them. It’s a unique bond for sure

Stand Up Under Attack

Last night I had an amazing revelation while watching a video by TD Jakes. How to fight and win spiritual battles. Stand Up and Fight!

For weeks the attacks, and trials the enemy has put before me I didn’t understand. The message I heard was life-changing for me. “Sometimes the enemy knows us better than we know ourselves.” His attack comes because he knows what is coming for us. He sees before we see the blessing that we’re about to receive. So his attack is planned so we don’t see it coming.

An attack that by design will destroy you IF YOU ALLOW IT TO. You have the strength to release it to God through faith. If you go toe-to-toe with the enemy, you will lose! If you think you can figure it out in your head, you will lose. I tried, and for my effort, I have been on the brink of breaking several times. The pain I have put myself through is debilitating.

You can fight not to allow your thoughts to wonder; you can fight for strength to move forward. What you can’t do is fight the enemy on his ground. That is God’s domain. We all can rebuke, bind and cast the enemy back to hell. Let the main event be Gods fight. If we can do this together, we will win.img_1540

He is attacking you hard because of the enemy fears who you will become in Christ. He won’t go without a fight. The good news it’s not your fight, you don’t have to step into the ring ever. Faith will be your weapon. I can hear so many of you screaming “I can’t take this anymore, faith, God put me here” no friends he did not. I thought that too.

The enemy would love for us to believe that. Then his stronghold on our faith is clamped hard. Don’t do this to yourself. Your weapon to fight is so easy it’s faith. Remember the harder you have to fight to hold onto your faith the greater your blessing on the other side of this trial. It is what it is you have to believe. Stop trying to understand it; the enemy will confuse you to the point of doubt.

Attacks will come from your mind, depression, people around you, beating you down. Don’t fear this. Embrace it that God does not make mistakes, nor does he put these things in your path. If you through your undying faith stand up and praise God and tell the enemy, God is in my soul, and we cast you back to hell you are not welcome here. Know in your heart that God is with you. That through this gut-wrenching trial the person who survives it will be might in this land. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD, fear nothing! Cast out all doubt and fear.

Be sure the enemy will come back. The next time he does your faith is rock solid. The attacks come because the enemy fears who you’re becoming. We’re stronger than he is through Christ.

My messages are always a pathway of hope. I am not a theologian or a therapist, but a man just like you that want’s something more from his life. Sick and tired of being sick and tired! Through the trials, I face the attacks on me if I can find ways to combat, get through to a new life. I want to share that information with anyone who will listen. In hopes that you don’t reach the same dark depths I have. Sometimes this message is a hope that it saves your life.

What I am sharing saved mine! I am grateful that the internet filled with good people’s messages of hope. It’s not hard to find, it’s not hard to follow if you open your heart.
