Believe with Unwavering Faith

Believe!

If you don’t have belief in what you’re doing, then stagnation is the result you will achieve. We all must believe in our hearts that which we seek. Peace, prosperity, oneness, or any number of desires your heart has.

Learning to retrain our brain to see the outcome of our belief. Believe that what you desire is already apart of your life experience. Be grateful that you have it! Don’t worry about how to focus on the end game result. See in your mind’s eye that which you want. Be grateful for the wisdom, knowledge, and open doors that are yet to come. Don’t let “I don’t have this or that; this will never work” attitude. Get the HOW out of your head. Doors will open in good time when we believe in what we do, work diligently daily towards that outcome of success.

Belief takes unwavering faith!

Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”—Martin Luther King, Jr.

Wisdom for Change

“When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.”—Walt Disney

No matter what you want in this life, if you believe in it, you can achieve it.

You must be willing to do the work, you can’t say “please bring me a million dollars, go sit on the couch and watch Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons and expect your bank account to mystically increase.”

Do work! Believe in that which you desire with all that is you! Watch your world change!

Am I Praying Right

“Prayer is man’s greatest power!” –W. Clement Stone

This bright light of God, Mattie, while on this earth stood for what I call “the true life.”

“It doesn’t matter how you pray. Pray. All religions are beautiful, and they all have one common belief. There’s something bigger and greater than us that can give us and take from us life. It is better than the here and now.” — Mattie Stepanek

One of my first questions. How do you talk to God and will he listen? Yes, he hears when you pray earnestly. What I mean by that is open and honest. Ask before it is given, in our lives we as humans say, “I will believe it when I see it.” God is the opposite!

Here are some cool things. You can talk to God anytime you want. Most of us speak directly to God when we’ve messed up. “Oh God please save me.” The good news is you can pray formally on bended knee, or you can talk to God on your way to work in the car.

prayer, God, Jesus

Here is the biggest thing you should remember when you pray: “Don’t Beg!” God knows your situation and does not need you to beg. He has already forgiven you. For example, God thank you for the restoration of my relationship with ______. God bless you for my healing, my body is better (even if you’re still sick). Thank him for what you want to have as though you have it already.

When you study your bible, you will learn that God has already given you an abundant, health-filled life. We must receive it through faith.

One thing I have found very useful. I lay down on my bed at night. Put headphones on and find meditation music that relaxes me. As I listen to the music, I close my eyes and imagine myself in the presence of God. I begin to thank him for blessing my life with abundance, financial blessings, health and joy in my life.

When I do this visualization, it helps me to feel my prayers are powerful. That I see myself during meditation. I see myself happy with my children. I see my boss handing me a big bonus check. I see me laughing and happy. Most importantly I see me standing with Jesus, standing in heaven with my lord. Peaceful, happy and full of all the love I could ever ask.

When you see your prayers in that light, it’s already yours. Then God will begin to move things in your life, so it is a reality. It won’t happen overnight, don’t have unrealistic expectations. Know that God is providing what you see in your prayers as though they are already yours. If you see yourself on top of Mount Everest, then have faith God will put you there if its Gods Work for you.

God will provide all the promises in the Bible that are yours. Through prayer that you give God thanks for already providing your answers. The answers will come. Patience will be the next chapter, but this is where patience comes in.

People also ask me does God hear better when I pray at Church or a holy place. God hears all prayers no matter where you stand. If you come to God with a humble, loving heart, God hears you loud and clear.

Another question I get all the time. How many times do I need to pray for a specific thing? Ask yourself this question, if someone keeps asking you the same question repeatedly what would you do? God is an intelligent soul so I would imagine with confidence that once you confess it to God, he has it.

In prayer, you need to confess to God your sins. If you want forgiveness, then you need to come clean with God. Prayer for me had a real cleansing feeling for me. When you ask for forgiveness, then accept it because you already have his mercy.

Prayer is like getting a new job. When you take the role it’s on the promise of pay; you must do the work first before you get paid. The easiest way for me to understand how prayer works. I had to do the job before God would begin to bless me.

Which stands to reason, something for nothing is always nothing. Earnestly, seek God’s promises in the Bible in prayer. The good news is, it’s everything you need and then some! Words without action are just that words. Faith is action.

Think You Can and You Will

Changing your mindset from “I can’t do that” to “I can.” Nothing is impossible if you truly set your mind to it. The change will come if your faith in what you endeavor is truly unwavering. Life has conditioned us to doubt our ability.

We’ve been indoctrinated into the world of “oh I can’t do that,” or those around us tell us we can’t. When our peers or family say “oh don’t try that you don’t have this or that” to even complete the work. Our minds are garbage dumps for the enemy. If you genuinely believe you can, you can. If you genuinely think you cannot, well, you’re right.

Stereotypes get broken every day. People achieve amazing things because they believe they can. Nothing or no man can stop you from reaching that which you desire. The family may tell you don’t try. Usually, that comes from a place where they don’t want to see you get hurt.spiritual, prayer

Perhaps in your life, you have not achieved much. Therefore, folks around you don’t think you have what it takes to do the project you intend. Don’t listen to naysayers even if they’re family. Listen to what is coming from your heart. If you have a burning to do something, then get off your butt and get going.

Let me warn you now. Be prepared to get bombarded with doubt, fear, and an overwhelming will rush over you. This is normal. Remember, we all are conditioned with doubt and fear. Those are not realities you have to subscribe too. Belief, unwavering faith that you can achieve what you are working towards will overcome doubt. It takes real work, but you can do it when you worth through times of uncertainty.

Successful people will tell you the reason they win. They’re willing to take one more step than you are to succeed. Losing is not an option. Fear, doubt, and roadblocks are all bumps in the road. Improvise, adapt, and overcome! Moreover, don’t quit!

Stand your ground in faith. Learn to develop a mindset of positive thoughts. Do the work before you and believe in your passion. It may be a title fight to get what you desire, but imagine what life change will come if you maintain your faith.

If Nothing Else Works, try Faith

Faith tends to be the hardest to hold onto in the face of adversity. It’s the one thing that will pull you through adversity. The enemy will want to fill your head with “this won’t work” “nothing will ever change” “this is my luck.”

Negative thoughts are an attack from the enemy. This has been hard for me to grasp. The enemy turns up the fire when he finds a weakness. My point to this is if you can identify your weakness. Perhaps you’ve gone through a break-up. You need to let God handle it, but you keep calling, emailing, begging, or thinking your fighting to hold onto the relationship. Reality is you’re destroying it, imposing your own will. Trust me been there done that!

faith, hope, God

Faith

What gets you is when you do try to let go and let God do his thing. If the situation does not change as fast as you want, that’s when you jump in and screw it up. Nothing happens on our schedule. Especially when it comes to God. We have to allow God to move through our lives, let our destiny unfold. Even if that destiny is not the outcome, we hoped for. That only means something new and better is around the corner.

If you give up or give in to your will things only won’t change as they should. When we live in our head instead of inside our soul, the administrator will take us down the wrong path. Faith that your life will unfold on God’s time will allow you to find happiness. Just when you think everything is lost, God will show out in ways, you could have never imagined. NO, I don’t have a crystal ball to tell you why or how. It’s through God’s promises in the Bible.

If you don’t have an understanding of the Bible, let me recommend you find a right Bible-based Church. Learn what the word of God says. Look at it with an open heart. There is a HUGE difference between Religion and walking as a true Christian. Subscribe to what makes you feel good. If organized Religion appeals to you, go! If you want to live a Christian life, find a good Christian Church. As long as you honor God to go to to do what your soul is called to do.

You cannot merely white knuckle faith. Having an understanding of what Faith will make it so much easier to have it. When I write about such things, I am the first to tell you that I chronicle my life as a direct result of following God’s word. I let people of real faith Minister to me the word of God. My background is not in a Church, nor have I studied it in a formal setting. What I can offer is my experience of being someone just like you seeking something more for my life.

Find people that speak to your heart teaching you the word of God. You may need to visit several Churches before you find one that speaks to you. That’s normal and okay.

Here is the dilly whopper. You have to give everything to him! You can’t go part way or say I will let God handle this and I will feel that. If you want more of the same for your life, that is what you will get if you don’t let God handle it. I struggle with this, as well.

What I had to do is tell myself, “okay, you’re here because of the way you handle things in your life.” So maybe a different way to handle my life is in order? Of course, it is, if I ever expect anything to change, I have to be willing to change.

We all come to a point in our lives that we say “I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.” It stands to reason that if life has exhausted you. Maybe, trying it with faith couldn’t hurt? My experience has been dropped into a pit of hell. So for me, a drastic change is what is needed. Therefore, I have committed to God that I will trust him completely. Struggling to maintain that, but when I do stumble, I have to remember that I am human. Giving myself a break to get up dust myself off and get back after my life. Trusting God to unfold my destiny. Is it smooth, no? The alternative is to continue the same crappy existence that I was muddling through. Losing relationships with family, not ever feeling truly fulfilled. Or I can try something new. God is something new for me. So far, it’s been amazing.

Most times not easy, but the rewards FAR outweigh the pain. Nothing worth having comes easy. Adjusting ourselves to an entirely different way of life is work. Be kind to yourself as you learn and make mistakes. Don’t get discouraged, and it’s part of the process.

It’s going to feel like you’re quitting smoking. You’re going to want a cigarette, don’t smoke it! Trust that whatever struggle that is in front of you will pass. It will give if you pray about it and let it go.

Find help in a good church if new to all of this. It gets better; I promise it does keep your faith! God bless you.
