Covid-19 Social Distance Things to Do

Habakkuk 2:2 (ERV)

God Answers Habakkuk

2 The Lord answered me, “Write down what I show you. Write it clearly on a sign so that the message will be easy to read.

It’s incredible to me how much self-improvement information has its roots from the Bible. When reading Habakkuk 2:2, not only is God saying right down what you want. He is also speaking to create a Vision Board as well. Pretty cool!

life, hope, covid-19

As we all struggle to find our way of dealing with Covid-19. Now would be a great time as we all social distance to work on ourselves. Your mantra, “make me better.”

Here are some simple questions to get you started:

  1. If money, time, and resources were not the problem. What would I do with my life?
  2. Am I doing what I want to do in a career or what I must do? How could I change that?
  3. How could I bring a new me to all my relationships?
  4. Am I praying every day?
  5. Do I meditate every day?
  6. Am I taking care of my body, health?
  7. Am I living in faith?
  8. What kind-act could I reasonably do every day?
  9. Am I telling everyone in my life, “I love you” every day?
  10. Am I reading a book or doing something to educate myself daily?

Now is a great time to ponder our lives and begin to formulate a plan. Write down the answer to these questions or whatever comes to mind. In other words, turn off the TV stop binge-watching Game of Thrones and do something for you.

If you’re in a relationship, take time as a couple to do the same thing. What an excellent time to reconnect more deeply.

Instead of worrying about the world, take a moment to bring a better you back to the world. We all know that through the unlikely events we now face. At some point in time, we will move on. As Mathew McConaughey said in a video, “we’re all sitting at a red light that will soon turn green again.”

Remaining vigilant in this time, of course. However, while we sit around thinking of things-to-do. Let’s take some time for ourselves.

My challenge to you!

Go get a notebook, paper, whatever you can find. Begin to think of beautiful ways you can bring a better you back to the world. When we can all say, “thank God this is over.”

Organize to Win in Life

Just released my new book. Organize to Win in Life. Here is the Introduction to the book, I hope you enjoy.

Why people fail often is a lack of organization. Not truly understanding the difference between activity and productivity.

What if you could learn to manage your life for success?

Are you tired of trying only to fall short of goals?

Are you living in your Gift?

When the alarm clock goes off, are you bouncing out of bed excited, hurrying to get ready for a day you can’t wait to begin? If not, you’re are not living your best life, your Gift. God has a whole lot more for you!

If your ready, keep reading!Christian book, Life Change, Organize

Of course, anyone would love to learn how to manage life for success. Yet very few can. This book will give you skills with exercises to help you learn to organize for success.

How to plan a day with production.

How to achieve goals because we had a daily routine towards its achievement.

What some will begin to say is a couple of things:

  1. I don’t have time; my schedule is so full.
  2. I won’t live my life on a time clock.

The first thing we will learn is how to get rid of the “I can’t!” Yes, you can, and together, we will overcome negativity creeping into our thoughts.

Fear:

“Fear can be good when you’re walking past an alley at night or when you need to check the locks on your doors before you go to bed, but it’s not good when you have a goal, and you’re fearful of obstacles. We often get trapped by our fears, but anyone who has had success has failed before.”—Queen Latifah

Let’s touch on this for a moment. Fear is a natural response from within you. Fear moves you out of harm’s way. When your brain begins to feel stress, you will naturally jump back out of fear. “oh, this may hurt me.”

Learn that fear can be overcome with practice. You may fear to speak publicly. However, over time it will become second nature to you. When we do things, enough fear will disappear.

Remember, while learning anything. Ounce, you do anything enough times. When comfortable, fear will simply move away.

Procrastination is the leading cause of failure. Your own ability to get yourself to do nothing. Put off to tomorrow what you need to do right now.

Decide what you want. Plan. Work on that plan every day. Devote yourself to the life you want to have, not the experience you have to have. A significant difference in doing what you want to do versus what you must do!

One of the critical components you will learn in this book, Activity vs. Productivity.

When you master this, life will open in ways, your only option is smile.

We’re going step-by-step to learn how to totally organize our life for success. However, nothing in this book will work unless you are ready to change. You cannot quit because change is hard.

Today, Today, Today, NOT Yesterday or Tomorrow, TODAY!

“Today is the only day. Yesterday is gone.”–John Wooden

Learning to live in the moment is a bit easier said than done. However, truth be told we don’t have yesterday and tomorrow is not known. Oh, sure we have to plan ahead of time.

Being present in the moment is in my mind is entirely focused on the tasks before me. Not worrying about what happened yesterday but total attention to the task-at-hand. Each day should be lined out with specific tasks that produce a result. Busy work is just that busy work.

prayer, God, Happiness

To make a real change in our lives, we must produce a result from our daily routine. If you organize the day so that you have actionable tasks that deliver a measurable effect. Amazing things will begin to happen. For example, I enjoy writing more in the morning than at any other time. So as a task, I set aside specific times of the morning to write. Not stopping until I am finished.

Moving onto the next task only when completing the current. If possible, don’t leave off one job before you finish the flow. Situations change but stay on task as much as possible. It takes to discipline yourself. That change comes with the right practice.

What happens to most of us is we get caught up in things that take away from what you can do right now. Worried about what is coming or concerned about what has happened. If we’re going to fix anything the work has to come first. Sitting and worrying gets nothing done.

Don’t perpetuate problems solve them. Solving them is being present at the moment focused on what can be done NOT what has been done!

Tomorrow will not come happy Without taking care of Today, Be in the Moment

“Tomorrow is only found in the calendar of fools.”–Og Mandino

Being present in the moment! Are you present at the moment or looking forward? How much could you get done today if you did not worry about tomorrow?

I included it’s easier said than done to not worry about tomorrow. Especially when our lives are broken up into months, monthly payments and so on. How we get productivity vs. activity is to focus our efforts on today. There is no tomorrow if you do nothing today!

plan, schedule, success

Organize your day if necessary hour to hour. You will be surprised if you focus solely on productivity how much you can get done.

If we focus on the day tomorrow will have brighter dawn to wake up to.

Have a blessed day!

How to Build an Empire with Goals

A new year begging and the flag has dropped the race has begun to achieve our resolutions and goals. Goals are all well and good. The biggest problem is either you don’t get started, or you just give out.

goal setting, achievement, success

If you want to build an empire, you need to get started. My philosophy is an Empire is what you believe an empire to be. Whether that’s to lose 50lbs. In weight this year, or make a million dollars. My thinking any win is part of your empire!

You can read thousands of books on goal setting. Everyone has an opinion about what you need to write out correctly. Here is my take on that.

Writing out the most detailed plan won’t accomplish anything without action. Where people fail is they don’t take consistent action. No work, no achievement!

Here are a few points that will help you stay on top of your goals:

  • Set an actionable task daily with reminders. I use my Smartphone to ring out reminders of what I need to do next.
  • Finish your daily tasks. Don’t set up too many things to achieve in a day. Finish what you begin before you move on to the next job.
  • Don’t overwhelm yourself. Be sure that what you set out to do daily is manageable. When you overcome yourself, you will eventually quit.
  • Take time to set up your calendars, to-do list, so that you don’t forget. Set up at least three months of actionable tasks. If you try and do this on short spurts, you’re just setting up to fail.

You can write down all the goals in the world. If you don’t put serious action behind that, you wasted your time. Achieving goals requires work. Take action every day, the only way is to track yourself daily. Complete daily tasks and you will see your dreams come true.

If you want to achieve start right now! Get this garbage out of your head “will start tomorrow,” NO begin right now!!!

Good luck in your New Year, I believe this will be your best year!
