Patience is the Key, Blessings, Success, and Life

“Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.”–Joyce Meyer
Letting God do his work takes time. Patience allows God to see your faith, that you trust enough to allow your life’s destiny to open up as it should. When you lose hope because times get tough slows the progress.

self help, happy, peace

We all struggle with patience because we want everything right now. Living in a world that wants us to believe now!

The struggle is we don’t see an outcome being positive quickly enough then our first instinct is to jump in the middle of something that needs time. Yes, you have to do the work, what’s necessary to move things along.

There is a difference in taking steps to realize a change, or forcing something that is not altogether ready to manifest. For example, a relationship you push too hard when you push someone away because you don’t give them the time and space to come to the same place you are.

Worse still is you merely give up. “Oh this is not going to work, or it would have by now.” The Universe will align the sun, the moon, and the stars in your favor with Patience. Remember you cannot say I want a new job and then order a pizza and wait. You have to get out and do the work, look for a job, interview and keep chugging until you here “Welcome we want to hire you.”

Don’t Let Anyone Steal Your Joy

“Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by assholes.”

This quote has been attributed to Sigmund Freud, William Gibson, and a host of others. I found it both straight to the point and funny. Whoever can take credit for it!

We all learn to keep certain people at arm’s length, or we allow them into our experience. Taking care to protect our emotions.

Learn to not allow toxic people to steal your joy. If needed, these folks may need to exit your life if you deal with issues concerning them. You don’t have to allow that, ever!

self help, confidence, friends

Sometimes we have to move on from relationships to make room for the new. Changing seasons in our life will bring new friends, mentors, and essential people that God sees fit to move into our life experience. Be open!

Embrace those that lift you up, challenge your status quo. Lots of people are searching for the same quality of life you are. I find great people at Church that follow a path of happiness.

You Have to Live Today Anyway, be Happy, Have Fun, Smile

“When I wake up, I expect things to be good. If they’re not, then I try to set about trying to make them as good as I can ’cause I know I’m gonna have to live that day anyway. So why not try to make the most of it if you can? Some days, they pan out a little better than others, but you still gotta always just try.”–Dolly Parton

What is your expectation when you wake up every day?

If you begin each day with a grateful heart, realize you may have bumps in the road today, but you have a Monster Truck that blows right over bumps, fences, construction, mud, snow, ice, you name it your Monster Truck resolve for life can blow right through!

Let’s do like Dolly says and work to make every day a bit better even when it might not be the rainbow/marshmallow day you were hoping for.

Wake Up Happy!

Happiness truly begins with a grateful heart. Declare your gratitude each and every day. Several times per day. If we learn to be thankful for what we have, then God will bless our lives with more abundance.

We all have bad days and can find ourselves in a dark place. Everyone! Don’t fall prey to depression as best you can. Obviously, if you suffer, get help. Where and when you can smile, let God now that you’re grateful for the smallest of blessings. Moreover, you’re thankful for the benefits to come, happiness, health, and prosperity.

Smile and have a blessed day!

Storms Pass, Happiness, Freedom, Peace after the clouds are gone!

“It takes many a year, mon, and maybe some bloodshed must be, but righteousness someday prevail.”–Bob Marley

When we move to change our lives, we will go through some pain. The pain you feel is the strength you’re gaining to take on the worst that can be thrown at you, yet righteousness prevails.

Goodness will manifest itself in all aspects of your life. Stay in the game, focus on the result in your mind. The storm will pass! They always do.

A Man of True Faith, John Wooden

“Many things are essential to arriving at true peace of mind, and one of the most important is faith, which cannot be acquired without prayer.”–John Wooden

Arguably the greatest basketball coach to have ever lived. John Wooden instilled in his players more than just fame. He taught them to be a gentleman, put their studies at UCLA above basketball. The dressed in a shirt and tie before games. Any profanity on the court put you on the bench.

Coach Wooden taught his players how to live the life of a true gentleman above all. A man of God that reminds us of their legacy to simply be good folks.

God, Prayer, Faith

With God first in his life, faith ever present. A man who lived with a wife he adored, educated kids was his real passion, created some of the best players to have ever played in the NBA, Kareem Abdul Jabar, and Bill Walton just to name a couple.

Have faith it’s that simple! Follow the examples of people like John Wooden, who lived life. Put God first in your life!
