Stand Up Under Attack

Last night I had an amazing revelation while watching a video by TD Jakes. How to fight and win spiritual battles. Stand Up and Fight!

For weeks the attacks, and trials the enemy has put before me I didn’t understand. The message I heard was life-changing for me. “Sometimes the enemy knows us better than we know ourselves.” His attack comes because he knows what is coming for us. He sees before we see the blessing that we’re about to receive. So his attack is planned so we don’t see it coming.

An attack that by design will destroy you IF YOU ALLOW IT TO. You have the strength to release it to God through faith. If you go toe-to-toe with the enemy, you will lose! If you think you can figure it out in your head, you will lose. I tried, and for my effort, I have been on the brink of breaking several times. The pain I have put myself through is debilitating.

You can fight not to allow your thoughts to wonder; you can fight for strength to move forward. What you can’t do is fight the enemy on his ground. That is God’s domain. We all can rebuke, bind and cast the enemy back to hell. Let the main event be Gods fight. If we can do this together, we will win.img_1540

He is attacking you hard because of the enemy fears who you will become in Christ. He won’t go without a fight. The good news it’s not your fight, you don’t have to step into the ring ever. Faith will be your weapon. I can hear so many of you screaming “I can’t take this anymore, faith, God put me here” no friends he did not. I thought that too.

The enemy would love for us to believe that. Then his stronghold on our faith is clamped hard. Don’t do this to yourself. Your weapon to fight is so easy it’s faith. Remember the harder you have to fight to hold onto your faith the greater your blessing on the other side of this trial. It is what it is you have to believe. Stop trying to understand it; the enemy will confuse you to the point of doubt.

Attacks will come from your mind, depression, people around you, beating you down. Don’t fear this. Embrace it that God does not make mistakes, nor does he put these things in your path. If you through your undying faith stand up and praise God and tell the enemy, God is in my soul, and we cast you back to hell you are not welcome here. Know in your heart that God is with you. That through this gut-wrenching trial the person who survives it will be might in this land. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD, fear nothing! Cast out all doubt and fear.

Be sure the enemy will come back. The next time he does your faith is rock solid. The attacks come because the enemy fears who you’re becoming. We’re stronger than he is through Christ.

My messages are always a pathway of hope. I am not a theologian or a therapist, but a man just like you that want’s something more from his life. Sick and tired of being sick and tired! Through the trials, I face the attacks on me if I can find ways to combat, get through to a new life. I want to share that information with anyone who will listen. In hopes that you don’t reach the same dark depths I have. Sometimes this message is a hope that it saves your life.

What I am sharing saved mine! I am grateful that the internet filled with good people’s messages of hope. It’s not hard to find, it’s not hard to follow if you open your heart.

Grateful, Are you?

Grateful. If anything in this life can make it better, being grateful is number one. If you can’t be thankful for what you have, then sadly you may be stuck.

Let me give you a prime example. Finances could not be worse. Relationships are in the toilet, you’re about to lose everything. I mean everything. Life looks hopeless. Every turn is some new problem, nothing is getting better. What do you have to be grateful for if life seems like it’s flushing you down the toilet?

• Health, if reasonably healthy then indeed you are blessed. If you don’t believe that tell it to someone that has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Ask them if health is not everything.

• The ability to work. If you can stand upright, you have a body that functions you can accomplish. This is something to be grateful for.

• Children healthy? That is a real gift.

• Supportive spouse. A right partner is a beautiful blessing.

• A car that runs to get you to work. A bus that is close to getting you to work.

If you look closely enough, we all have things to put the gratitude in our hearts. Without it, you will stifle your growth. With it, God will enrich your life. I see it every day in my own life. When I live in gratitude, things happen for me out of the blue. A small break here, a significant break there. At the end of the day, I feel stronger. The trials in my life may still be there, but every day, I take a bite out of them.

The key is to be grateful for even the smallest blessing. How can God bless your life if you don’t thank him for yet the most minor benefit? It’s still a blessing. I received $16 in cash from the post office for a PO box I had. I owe thousands of dollars I could have looked at this a couple of ways. I chose to be excited it was something I was not expecting, out of the blue favor from God.

Today if God saw fit to bless me with a penny, I would be just as excited if he saw fit to bestow me with a thousand dollars. Be grateful for the smallest things, then God can bless you with the big stuff. It has to be genuine, though. Don’t be smarty pants and say, “Oh look a penny.” Be seeded in faith and gratitude.

This is an area that I struggle as well. Everything you read from successful people is grateful for what you have. Look around you. We all have things to be thankful for. Blessings come disguised as a smile from a complete stranger, someone allows you in front of them, you can breathe, your health, I could list hundreds more.

Don’t let yourself get caught up in a whirlwind of garbage to the point you forget to be grateful. Blessings could be just around the bend if you stop and just say thank you. Even when finding anything to be thankful for seems distant or hopeless.

Try! I will pray for anyone reading this that you find one small blessing in your life, that being grateful for the most minor of benefits will open the door for God to do amazing things in your life.

I Ain’t Going Down No More

This walk we take through life has curves, cliffs, mountains, snow, ice, you name it your mind can put you in a dangerous place. These are the things that we run into in our minds. I love the saying that turmoil is the price of admission for a beautiful life. We all have something to learn from our pain. I don’t like pain any more than you do, but we can work through it.

I remember a scene in Rocky II when Rocky is fighting Apollo Creed. Rocky takes punch after brutal punch, knocked downtime and time again. Rocky stumbles back to his corner face swollen, bleeding seemingly out of steam, and Rocky tells Mickey, “I ain’t going down no more.” He finds his strength out of being beaten down, hit again and again. The power to go on. Not to quit.God, faith,

The point is if you’re getting your ass kicked by life, it’s time to say “I ain’t going down no more.”

Okay, I hear everyone saying sure easier said than done. You have to ask yourself if you’re saying that “Have I had enough yet?” Say it, say it NOW! Tell the enemy to get out of your head, you ain’t going down no more.

The first thing you have to come to terms with is that enough is enough. NO matter the pain or turmoil in your head. Get to a place in your mind where you can make quite the spirit. The only way I can tell you to do it meditate. You can find free guided meditations on YouTube, put on some headphones on close your eyes, and listen. Feel yourself relaxing. If you have to play it ten times before you begin to feel something, do it.

Here is the trouble you may run into. We’re all I WANT IT NOW people. So what happens is people quit. They stop just at the moment change is going to happen. Successful people will tell you why they’re successful is they’re willing to take one more step than you are. You can’t quit. The enemy will fight you tooth and nail to beat you. Don’t live in your head live in your soul. Your leader will jack you up. Your soul is where love, abundance, and relief live.

Your head will trick you and leave you in a terrible place. Open up your heart, your soul to find real peace. You can do this during meditation, connecting with God, the universe, Devine source, or a higher power. When you join with whom I call God during meditation, a whole new world opens up, “I ain’t going down no more.”

See yourself in meditation, happy, abundant, and living the life dreams are made of. It can happen. Don’t quit too soon. There is NO quick fix. You have to own the pain when you do you hold the world. “Own that Shit”–Harley Quinn. Peace will come during meditation if it takes a little time it will. Let your mind go to God, divine source, you will find peace to hold onto.

Don’t tell yourself it’s too much. NOTHING is too much. Here is a terrible example of pain, the loss of a child. The awful sad truth is life will go on no matter how much we don’t want it to at that moment. Pain is a pain, is a pain. The loss of someone is the most unbelievable pain we can experience. Yet the sun will come up tomorrow. You can’t stop fighting to get out of your tricky situation. You can’t lose faith when there is nothing to hold onto but faith. The hope of change may be all you have right now, take it, own it. Peace is coming, I promise it is.

This is why you have to connect to a Devine source. Sometime’s there is no real answer, especially when we lose something as precious as a loved one. I use this extreme because most problems pale in comparison. If you’re reading this and you have lost a loved one my heart goes out to you. The loss is painful, but it will pass even when you believe it won’t, it will. God be with you.

For most problems, when we’re in the middle of them, the pain can be daunting. So massive we can’t see a way out. I have very recently gone through this. My life is turned upside down, finances are in turmoil, family, the list goes on. The enemy has taken my joy on many days, where I was just a mess. Bulldozing my way through has been a struggle. I have been knocked down time and time again in my own head. It’s not real, it’s the enemy who will try at all costs to keep you down. DO NOT LISTEN!!!

We all hear change is not easy. No, it’s not, but you can do it! I have had days where it’s so black in my head, indeed a dark place no human wants to go.

Never give up. I don’t care how much you think you can’t, I am living proof you can. Get off the canvas, stand up, and fight. You have it in you. I know it in my heart.

Please send me your questions or comments, I welcome your thoughts:

Move Forward Peace Is Here

If anyone ever told me how strong a fight, the enemy would put upon me. I might not have come to the battle. If you’re like me, the enemy can get a stronghold in your mind. Place the most terrible thoughts in your head. Sadly to the point of exhausting you from the fight in mind.

Keeping in faith seems like a futile task. You want to give up! What I do in these moments and believe me, I get there. My thoughts yesterday had me crying so hard I had to stop the car. Beat the steering wheel screaming get out of my head. Have you ever found yourself in the wrong place? We all have so you’re not alone.

This all occurred for me after sitting through two church services. You would think that I would have been on top of the world. Yet the enemy got in my head hard. I loved what the pastor preached, but I struggled to stay present at the moment. It got worse on the drive home.

Someone that is helping me out right now and that I love very much for doing so. Was working for me in a terrible place. The Pastor’s words were most welcome. At Church, our Life Groups were meeting in the evening.

I made myself attend the life group. People I don’t know since I am new to the area having only just moved at the first of this month back to West Texas.

The life group is made up of beautiful people from my new church home. As we had dinner together, I began to ask questions about faith and dark moments. Trials that the enemy puts before us. Sharp is the dark place the enemy will get your mind.

As these beautiful people spoke to me, I did find peace after a day of battle in my mind. Because you seek peace with the lord, the enemy will pull out all the stops to convince you that you’re not worthy. I learned that God already has placed goodness and peace in my heart. I merely need to accept it.

What’s challenging to understand for most of us, I think. It’s tough to comprehend that you just have to believe. Our lives are conditioned to question everything. My prayer to God for you and myself. God, you have given your son so that I can be forgiven for all my sins. Your promise is a life of joy and abundance. I pray for anyone reading this, and myself that you give us the wisdom and strength in your word to overcome anything the enemy throws at us. That we are active in the Lord and the POWER OF HIS MIGHT! We pray this prayer together in Jesus Holy Name. Thank you for this blessing!

The real point here is that even when you think you lost, find some way to muster the strength to keep going. Help is around the corner, so don’t stop. I didn’t and noticed a feeling of peace that I could hold onto. Order is yours, I promise you will find it if you keep moving forward with God.
